Cosmic Surrender Bath

Baths can be such a sensual experience – whether solo or partnered. So we’ve woven inspiration from Aphrodisiac – The Herbal Path to Healthy Sexual Fulfillment and Vital Living with our own creative magic to bring you this pleasurable, luxurious, romantic and beautiful bath ritual that we call the Cosmic Surrender Bath!

Ingredients

• Dried and/or fresh Rose petals 
• Dried Damiana leaves
• Dried and/or fresh Blue Lotus
• Essential oils such as rose, jasmine or a blend of your favourites (optional)
• Cacao butter buttons, 2 or 3

Damiana Infusion Preparation

Place the damiana leaves in a jar, pour over with water to fill the jar. Let them steep for at least 4 hours and then strain into a bowl, reserving the liquid and composting the leaves.

Cosmic Surrender Bath Preparation

1. Set the stage for a romantic and intimate evening with yourself or your beloved with an aromatic bath infused with flowers, herbs, and essential oils. 
2. Ensure you have carved our plenty of time and space to soak uninterrupted.
3. Include some candles to soften the light and create an ambient and relaxing mood.
4. Run the bath to just the perfect temperature, making sure that if there are 2 of you there is enough water to cover you both (without spilling over the edge!)
5. To the warm bath add the cacao butter, damiana infusion, dried or fresh rose and blue lotus flowers and perhaps a few drops of essential oil. Try rose, jasmine, or any that you love. The steam will release the intoxicating perfume, creating a sensual and soothing environment.
6. Once this romantic bath is ready, invite your partner to join you or slowly immerse solo. Allow the fragrant water to envelop (both of) you in a cocoon of relaxation and connection. Stay here for as long as you like, melting into the sensuous scent and warmth.
7. As the skin is the largest organ, the herbs will soak in through your whole body. This bath can be quite potent, so take your time here – and be mindful to leave the bath with care and attention.
