Black Tahini Ceremonial Dipping Sauce

by The Sacred Earth Medicine Team on February 24, 2025

I bought Shaa the spectacular vegan recipe book 'Hungry' by Anthea Amore for Christmas. And we haven’t stopped drooling over all the divine chocolate recipes! This Black Tahini Ceremonial Dipping Sauce our current favourite!! Her original recipe is a chocolate sauce to go with donut fritters, we’ve tweaked it to use our cacao and love to serve it with cut up seasonal fruit. Mmm-mmmmm! It’s so good, our son is hankering to have it on toast for breakfast!!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of finely ground Sacred Earth Medicine Ceremonial Cacao
  • 1 tablespoon black tahini
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Combine the Ceremonial Cacao and water in a bowl and hand-whisk until smooth.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, whisking until smooth.
  3. Set aside until you are ready to serve.

NB. Black Tahini Ceremonial Dipping Sauce will thicken in the fridge, or if its left overnight. So, if you like it deliciously runny consume right away, or if you like it thick - prepare in advance and store in fridge.

Thanks Anthea – we LOOOVE your recipes!! @organicpassion

As I navigate this fast paced world, I feel so grateful for the gentle grounding remedy of cacao to bring me back to centre and restore my balance.

Modern science is beginning to confirm what ancient traditions have long known: cacao is one of the most nutrient-dense plants on Earth.

Our Fire Horse Cacao Ritual is designed to support you in awakening courage, momentum, and heart-led action while staying grounded enough to avoid burnout.
