So, What is a Sacred Cacao Love Potion?

The Sacred Cacao Love Potion is our newest witchy concoction and we are excited about it! Each herb in the brew contains aphrodisiac qualities and will give you that sparkly feeling and extra zing. It also tastes delicious! So grab your mate, brew up a Sacred Cacao Love Potion and enjoy!

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 4 heaped tbsp (60g) of ground Sacred Earth Medicine Ceremonial Cacao
  • 300ml of Boiled Water
  • 1 heaped tsp Damiana
  • 1 heaped tsp Rose Petals
  • 1 dried Blue Lotus flower or Blue Lotus elixr (optional)
  • A pinch each of Vanilla seeds/powder & Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp each of Nutmeg & Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Shatavari (optional)

Directions

  1. Steep dried damiana, rose petals & optional blue lotus flower in boiled water overnight or for at least 1 hour. Or try a blue lotus elixr.
  2. Strain herbs out of the water, then reheat gently. Do not boil.
  3. Mix ground Ceremonial Cacao, vanilla, cayenne pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon & shatavari together in a separate vessel.
  4. Add just a few mls of the herbal brew to your sacred cacao mix and stir a little. You will make a thick paste that goes almost dry pretty quickly. Keep adding a few more mls of herbal brew and stirring (do this another 3-4 times) until your mixture is thick and delicious. Add more brew and stir to achieve your desired thickness.
  5. Add your favourite sweetener. We prefer honey, but maple syrup, coconut nectar or rapadura is best for vegans.
  6. Call in Cacao Blessings, give thanks and drink with reverence to open the heart portal!

Extra Herbal Brew: You may have some of the herbal brew left over, that's ok, keep it for a top up later if needed. 200ml of liquid will make a thick, silky love potion, whilst 300ml will be a little more watery. The choice is yours.
